Sources close to Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas have denied the reports that their next movie is going to be a remake of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's hit movies Vedalam or Veeram.
It has been rumoured for a long time now that Pawan Kalyan's next movie would be a remake of either Vedalam or Veeram. Trivikram Srinivas' next venture starring Pawan Kalyan was launched yesterday. It was speculated that this movie will be a remake of one of the two films starring Ajith Kumar.
But the sources close to Trivikram Srinivas say his directorial venture is an original movie and he has written the story especially for power star Pawan Kalyan. "Trivikram's project is not a remake. It's an original script and it was exclusively written for Pawan Kalyan," IANS quoted a source as saying.
Meanwhile, the source also revealed that this untitled film will be made with a whopping budget of Rs 85 crore and Pawan Kalyan will be seen romancing two actresses in the movie. "The shoot will start from next month. It will be an 85-crore entertainer featuring two heroines, and the makers have already begun the casting process," the source added.
Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas have earlier worked on two projects -- Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi. Their second combo film has the highest grossing movie in their career. The actor and director are teaming up for the third time and their untitled project has created a lot of curiosity among film-goers.
Their third combo movie was officially launched in Hyderabad on Saturday and its regular shooting will commence from next month. Produced by S Radha Krishna, the project marks the debut of composer Anirudh Ravichander in Telugu. Cinematographer Manikandan, who has worked on Anniyan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has been roped in to crank the camera.
