Kalki Koechlin Starrer 'Margarita With A Straw' Becomes Only Indian Film to Win Asian Film Awards [PHOTOS+WINNERS' LIST]

The 9th edition of the Asian Film Awards took place in a star studded event in Macau, China on Wednesday, 25 March.

Kalki Koechlin starrer "Margarita With A Straw" has become the only Indian film, which received an Asian Film award this year. Music composer Mikey McCleary received the best composer award for the English lyrics of the film, which dealt with the story of a girl with cerebral palsy.

Earlier, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's "Haider" had bagged three nominations, including best film, Vishal Bhardwaj for best director and Tabu for best supporting actress. 

Kalki was also nominated in the best actress category for her performance in "Margarita, With A Straw".
