Dulquer Salmaan-starrer "Kali" has opened to positive reviews. The movie was released Saturday, March 26. While Rajesh Gopinandhan has written the story, Sameer Thahir has directed the Malayalam movie.
After the well receiver "Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi," Dulquer Salmaan and Sameer Thahir have collaborated again in "Kali," which is a romantic entertainer. Sai Pallavi of "Premam" fame plays the female lead in the movie, which has Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod, Soubin Shahir and others in supporting roles.
The movie has Gopi Sundar's music, Gireesh Gangadharan's cinematography and Vivek Harshan's editing.
In "Kali", Dulquer and Sai will be seen playing the roles of Siddharth and Anjali, respectively. The couple meet during their college days, fall in love and get married even though their families were not happy with their relationship.
The story is all about how Siddharth's bad temper affects his marriage. Even though he tries to control his anger and behave well, at some point of time he looses his cool. What happens next should be seen on-screen.

People have praised Dulquer Salmaan's brilliant performance. His chemistry with Sai Pallavi works big time in the movie. The major credit for its success goes to writer Rajesh Gopinathan and director Sameer Thahir, who has executed the things well. Girish Gangadharan's cinematography and Gopi Sundar's music are bonus. Despite minor drawbacks and loopholes, the film turns out to be a good entertainer.
