Despite Kaley Cuoco's various attempts to quash talks of an imminent divorce between her and husband Ryan Sweeting, rumours refuse to die down, thanks to baseless news reports.
For instance, a new Celeb Dirty Laundry report claimed that Cuoco's closeness to ex-boyfriend and "The Big Bang Theory" co-star Johnny Galecki is affecting her marriage. The media outlet has based these claims on a recent photograph that featured the two co-stars hanging out.
The selfie showed the former lovers "sitting very closely together, both with seductive looks on their face," wrote Celeb Dirty Laundry, adding that Sweeting won't be happy with the caption that read, "Mr. Galecki is in full control."
Celeb Dirty Laundry has been speculating for a while that the two are heading for splitsville because of "alcohol, jealousy, erratic behavior, and resentment." Reportedly, Cuoco is very insecure about her marriage, and she constantly wants Sweeting around. Cuoco also does not like it when he leaves her and goes out with his friends, following which she attempts to drink down the sorrow, according to the gossip website.
The website added that Cuoco was resorting to immature tactics to make her husband notice her, and this included getting close to ex-boyfriend Galecki.
It has been nearly four years since Cuoco and Galecki split up after dating for two years, and in an interview with CBS Watch! magazine last year, the actor said that Cuoco was still a part of his life.
"We're dear friends, still," Galecki said. "She's not an ex, she's a part of my life."
"I just don't like to speak about it. And not because I'm trying to be enigmatic; I just worry that it will conflict with people's acceptance of Leonard and Penny.... I get the curiosity, but I don't want to distract from the story."
Cuoco and Galecki have been essaying the roles of Penny and Leonard on "The Big Bang Theory" since 2007. And although they split up, the couple has a friendly relationship. "I'm so lucky it was a mutual ending and that we don't hate each other," Cuoco told the magazine in a 2010 interview. "We dodged a huge bullet. Dodged a war."
