Just days after the shocking sudden demise of South Indian actor-singer Kalabhavan Mani, his only daughter Sreelakshmi had appeared for the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) class 10 examination. The 15-year-old student has now proved she is a real fighter like her father by securing a good score in the exam.
Mani's brother RLV Ramakrishnan shared the news of Sreelakshmi's success through a Facebook post on Saturday. The celebrity kid is said to have scored A+ in four subjects and B+ in one. In the photos, Ramakrishnan is seen celebrating with Sreelakshmi (Ammu) by giving her sweets for achieving success.
"My brother would be very happy now and may be with us as a firefly to be part of this happiness [translated]," Ramakrishnan posted on his Facebook account.
Earlier, South Indian actress Kushboo Sunder had praised Mani's daughter for appearing in the board exam just two days after the cremation of her father. "#KalabhavanMani's daughter is appearing 4 her exams jus days aftr his demise #AllthebestSriLakshmi..a strong girl at heart..kudos 2 her, [sic]" wrote Kushboo on her social media page.
Sreelakshmi, who had earlier said that she will make her father's dreams come true, has also proved her talent at imitating many famous personalities, including the actors Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi, and politicians VS Achuthanandan and the late K Karunakaran. She had also performed with her father in a few television programmes.
