Kajol gives cold shoulder to Malaika Arora; is it over Karan Johar?

Kajol has apparently become quite selective about socialising with people and looks like Malaika Arora does not come under the list of her friends. And the reason is believed to be Karan Johar.

Kajol has recently attended a lunch party, where celebs like Malaika, Dia Mirza were also present. It has been reported that Ajay Devgn's wife gave a cold shoulder to Malaika and completely avoided her.

It is being said that Kajol ignored Arbaaz Khan's ex-wife only because she is quite close to Karan. "Considering the close and solid relationship shared between Malaika and Karan, Kajol who otherwise greets everyone, did not even extend a formal greeting to Malaika at the party," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.

Kajol and KJo were two of the best buddies in the industry, but the filmmaker's box office clash with Ajay Devgn some time back had affected his friendship with her as well. So much so that the two now make sure they do not cross paths at any event.

However, new developments suggest Kajol doesn't want to socialise with anyone close to Karan. Some days back, a similar incident was reported when Kajol had apparently avoided Rani Mukerji at an event.

Rani was honoured with "woman of substance" award at the HT awards, attended by Kajol, her husband Ajay and sister Tanishaa Mukerji. While her sister had congratulated Rani with a hug, Kajol did not even talk to her. Check the video here.

Again, Rani shares a good equation with Karan. Mrs Devgn made it apparent that she will not hang out with people who are good friends with the film-maker.
