While fans were disappointed with the news of MTV's "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan" coming to an end, it was later revealed that the show was in fact taking a short leap and would return with a new season.
With a second season in the pipeline, one might wonder how the plot of "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan" will progress.
According to reports, post the six months leap, the new season will see the characters having moved on in their respective lives, while still being friends.
Further, the new season will take the entertainment quotient a notch higher with a lot of twists and turns along with a lot of exciting drama and budding affairs.
Interestingly, the second season will see Karan Jotwani aka Aryaman and Nandini aka Niti Taylor playing the new couple.
"Post the leap, the season 2 will see a new storyline wherein they will be struggling with their individual lives and careers. And being by Nandini's side will be Aryaman aka Karan Jotwani, and together the two would go on to play the leads in the new season," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Meanwhile, rumours have been doing the rounds that post the leap, "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan" star Parth Samthaan will quit show owing to his failing health.
Reportedly, Manik will meet with an accident and that's how Parth's character will come to an end. Rumour has it that the popular actor will wrap up his shoot in a few days.
However, a report in Bollywood Life states that Parth is very much associated with the show and will continue entertaining his fans in the second season as well.
While no official confirmation has been made by the makers or Parth himself, it remains to be seen if the hunk has really quit the show or if it's just a rumour.
