"Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 2" actor Parth Samthaan aka Manik boasts of a strong and loyal fan following, which sort of helps him aim bigger.
Talking about work commitments, work schedule, and his upcoming Bollywood debut, the popular TV actor gets fairly candid in his recent interview with The Asian Age.
Although his tight work schedule extends well over 12 hours every day, Parth is extremely pleased with the way viewers have come to embrace his acting skills on the show.
"I am actually surprised and taken aback by the way television reaches out to the audience. Unlike films, one doesn't have to go out and buy a ticket to see the content. People can easily switch on the television at home," the leading daily quoted him as saying.
He further spoke about how he has been in talks with a few film people and that he will take up offers once everything falls into place.
"Yes, I do have plans. I am in talks and a few meetings are lined up. I pray that things fall into place. Hope to get something good. I am keeping my fingers crossed!" said Parth when asked if he was keen to join the flm industry.
"...I want to work with Imtiaz Ali, Neeraj Pandey and Rajkumar Hirani," he added.
If he ever decides to take the plunge, there might be a chance of him shining bright as he has a set of die-hard fans. There was a furore of sorts over him bowing out of the hit television series. The audience took to Twitter to express their resentment, and didn't stop until he was back on the show.
