The movie has become the biggest opener in the Kahaani film series, beating the record of the first installment, which fetched Rs 2.95 crore nett at the domestic box office on its opening day.
The audience, who watched Kahaani 2 in the first show, say that the movie boasts of a thrilling and intriguing script, brilliant performances by Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal and good production values. The word of mouth will help the movie go on from strength to strength over the weekend. The film will beat the record of Kahaani, which collected Rs 13.83 crore at the Indian box office in the first weekend.
