Ever since Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have patched up, there have been speculations on and off that they might be seen in a film together. It appears those wishing for a reunion, are in for a treat.
Shah Rukh has been offered a cameo role in Salman's Tubelight, BollywoodLife reported. Earlier, Shatrugan Sinha was approached for the part, but for some reason he wasn't able to commit.
If SRK agrees to be a part of Tubelight, he and Salman will be reuniting on the silver screen after almost a decade. They were last seen grooving to Vishal-Shekhar's Deewangi Deewangi song in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om.
So, why didn't they work for so long? Shah Rukh and Salman were in a cold war, which apparently started with a verbal argument at Katrina Kaif's birthday party. Since then, they have stayed away from each other's ways and often taken sly digs at each other at social gatherings and award ceremonies.
But the stars' version of what went on at the infamous party painted a different picture. On Bigg Boss 9, SRK and Salman demonstrated that they were just having a friendly banter, but the media decided to blow it out of proportion.
Their version of the story raised quite a few eyebrows because through their little skit they denied every story that has been written on their tiff. But it's a relief for the fans that they have come around to becoming friends again.
They are now in a friendly space and have been so since 2013. A few months ago, they even went on a morning bicycle ride along the streets of Mumbai, with Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan in tow.
