Director Kabir Khan wrapped up his film "Phantom" starring Saif Ali Khan and started shooting Salman Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
The first schedule of the film started on the banks of Yamuna river in Delhi on Monday morning.
"7:30 am on the banks of Yamuna in Delhi... #BajrangiBhaijaan begins," director Kabir Khan tweeted on Monday morning. "Im in Delhi right now prepping for the start of #BajrangiBhaijaan... we start on the 3rd."
Kabir and Salman previously worked together in "Ek Tha Tiger", which was the highest grosser of 2012. The director-actor duo, who created history with "Ek Tha Tiger", is back with another project, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan.
When "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was announced, people anticipated that it would be another version of "Ek Tha Tiger", but the director clarified that both the films are very different.
"#BajrangiBhaijaan and ETT r v different. Salman & I wntd to do something different together otherwise we wd hv made ETT2 :-) Wait & watch," he tweeted.
The director said that he signed Nawazuddin Siddiqui for Salman starrer. He announced the news on Twitter and said that he is very excited to work Siddiqui and Salman.
"Yes for all those asking me Nawazuddin is definitely in #BajrangiBhaijaan. Im really looking forward to working with Salman and him together," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, photos of Salman reportedly from the sets of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" went viral on social media last month.
Two photos of Salman -- one wearing a green pathani and taqiyah (cap) and other one sporting a casual look – went viral online after singer Palak Muchhal posted it on her Twitter handle.
However, it is not confirmed whether the photos are from "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" sets or the sets of Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
