Even as viewers wait with bated breath for the release of the trailer of "Kabali," Rajinikanth's tech-savvy fans have come out with an unofficial trailer of the forthcoming movie. It has now become the talk of the town with the brilliant visuals capturing the imagination of film buffs.
The unofficial trailer of "Kabali" has been created by a group of 13 people from a Coimbatore-based start-up Realworks, who had earlier worked on projects like "Urumeen" and "Pokkiri Raja." It is an animated clip, made using an open-source software, Blender. The group spent two weeks to come up with the trailer. Realworks had earlier done a similar job on Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan."
The clip features Rajinikanth in a Rolls Royce. How he responds to an attack by enemies has been stylishly recreated in the trailer. The background score has been composed by Arun Suradhaa of "Ramanujam" fame. So far, it has got over 4.6 lakh hits with more than 3,000 likes.
However, there is no update from the makers on the official trailer of the movie. It is believed that the video would be revealed only after the film is cleared by the regional censor board.
Meanwhile, the second teaser of "Kabali," which was released on June 16, has also been well-received by the audience. The 35-second video has got close to 50 lakh hits on YouTube.
It may be recalled that the first teaser of "Kabali" got record-breaking hits and likes. The clip, which was released on May 1, has been viewed over 2.2 crore times on YouTube with 4.35 lakh likes till date.
The Rajinikanth-starrer is helmed by Pa Ranjith and made under the banner of Kalaippuli S Thanu's V Creations. Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kishore and many others, including some international artistes, are part of the cast.
"Kabali" is expected to be released on July 15.
