The Telugu audio album of superstar Rajinikanth's "Kabali," which has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, has disappointed music lovers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T).
The Tamil audio album of "Kabali," which is also composed by Santhosh Narayanan, was released on the official YouTube channel of Think Music India on June 12. The lyrics videos of all the songs were viewed over 20-million times together on YouTube. This huge response had created a lot of curiosity about its Telugu audio, which was delayed due to some reason.
The makers of "Kabali" held a grand function to release its Telugu audio at the JRC Convention in Hyderabad on June 26. The movie has five songs. Anantha Shriram and Vanamali have written lyrics for two songs each, while Ramajogaiah Sasthri penned it for one soundtrack. Here is the Telugu tracklist of "Kabali:"

The Telugu jukebox of "Kabali" was released on official YouTube of Think Music India soon after its launch on Sunday. The video has been viewed over 60,000 times in 24 hours. It has got 950 thumbs up (likes) and 60 thumbs down (dislikes). Over 170 people have commented on the songs and many of them are disappointed with the lyrics of the songs. Here are some comments:

don't kill Telugu using bad lyrics. This music director should learn how to use lyrics writers in telugu from Mr.Rahman. Only Rahman and DSP gave hits in Tamil and Telugu at the same time for Same tunes using good lyrics writers.

Anyone who knows both Tamil and Telugu, please listen and compare the lyrics. I'm a Telugu guy, but Tamil songs seems much better though I don't understand them. I enjoyed only Okade Okadokkade in Telugu better.

Tamil songs are better than these though I cant understand tamil. Spoiled the flavour and I'm fully disappointed as a fan of RJINI sir. I think they did't concentrate on telugu.

Could be used for Telangana fire service department, literally i liked the tamil version way better (though i didn't understand it),the guy literally subbed the tamil version in to telugu (No creativity), he is not even feeling the music, Think music india should release the BGM or Instrumental version of it so that we can sing it ourselves
