The music album of the Tamil film "Kabali" was released directly into the market on June 12, sans a formal function. All the songs have impressed music lovers and some of them have become chartbusters. The success of the album has created a lot of curiosity for the release of its Telugu audio. The audience have been desperately waiting for its release in the Telugu-speaking states.
After seeing the huge craze, the makers of "Kabali" are holding a grand audio launch function at the JRC conventions in the city. The function will begin at 6:00 p.m. on June 26. PRO A JOHN tweeted, "Most Awaited Movie Starring @superstarrajinii "KABALI"'s Audio launch is Today At 6:00PM in JRC CONVENTION, RAI DHARG CIRCLE, HYDERABAD."
But the disappointing news for the fans is that Rajinikanth will reportedly not be present on the Telugu audio release of "Kabali." The superstar is reportedly undergoing treatment for some illness. Other cast and crew members will grace the event. Some celebs from the Telugu film industry are expected to make it to this music launch function.

Abhishek Pictures has acquired the theatrical rights of "Kabali" for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie has five songs and Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for them in both Tamil and Telugu versions. Think Music has acquired the music rights of both the versions.
The makers of "Kabali" had planned to launch both the Tamil and Telugu audio albums on the same day on May 30. But they postponed their music launch due to unknown reasons. They released the Tamil audio on June 12, but once again delayed launch of its Telugu version.
