A song from Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie "Kabali" has been leaked online. Some miscreants have released a one-minute clip, shocking the makers of the movie.
Disappointed with the development, actor Kalaiarasan took to Twitter to request people not to spread the clip and support them. He wrote, "Guys pls do not share Kabali song..Pls understand and cooperate..Support us..We r trying our best to stop but @beemji #SUPERSTAR #kabali."
However, Kalaiarasan deleted the tweet after some time. It looks like he realised that his post itself was spreading the news of the leak.
As per the reports, it is said to be a short clip, which has been leaked by someone who is very close to the technical team. Though it was leaked online, it went viral on WhatsApp. This is not the first time that a film has faced such an issue. In recent times, big movies like "Puli" and "Vedalam" also suffered such leaks.
Meanwhile, "Kabali" shooting is progressing in a rapid pace. Rajinikanth has finished his latest shooting schedule and left for the US to prepare for his next movie "Endhiran 2", to be directed by Shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The team has already completed a schedule in Chennai and Malaysia.
Sources say that a 40-day schedule is still pending in Malaysia and it will be wrapped up in January. "Kabali" is an action movie, which tells the story of a Chennai-based don settled in Malaysia. Radhika Apte plays the female lead in the movie, which is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
Pa Ranjith has written and directed "Kabali. Kishore, Dinesh Ravi, Dhansika and others are in the cast. Praveen KL is the editor of the film, which has Santhosh Narayanan's music. The multilingual flick " is expected to hit the screens in April 2016, probably for the Tamil New Year on 14 April.
