Pa Ranjith, who is basking in the success of "Kabali," has given a clarification about his future projects. The director has denied reports, which had claimed that he would be collaborating with Suriya and Vijay in his next two projects.
In an interview, Pa Ranjith said that the reports of him directing Suriya or Vijay are just rumours and he has not met either actor yet. He will be in a position to direct a film only after he completes the script of his next movie. The "Kabali" creator also requested people not to spread false information about his films.
In the recent months, rumours were rife that Suriya and Pa Ranjith were collaborating for a film, which revolves around a boxer. It was reported that it would be a raw and gritty film loaded with action sequences.
Later, it was also said that Pa Ranjith was directing a movie for Kalaippuli S Thanu, which would star Vijay.
Pa Ranjith's latest film, "Kabali," was released on July 22 in Tamil and Telugu languages in over 4,500 screens worldwide. It was made with a budget of Rs. 100 crore and is said to have grossed over Rs. 350 crore.
The action film featured Rajinikanth in the role of a gangster while Radhika Apte played his wife. Kishore, Kalaiyarasan and others played key roles in the movie. It turned out to be a hit in the United States, Malaysia and a few other domestic centres.
Meanwhile, the makers of "Kabali" have released the "Thoondil Meen Song" on the official YouTube channel of Think Music. In less than 24 hours, it has received over 80,000 hits on the video-sharing website.
