Hyderabad, July 24 (ANI): After facing flak from politicians over his remark on tennis star Sania Mirza, BJP's K Laxman gave clarification saying he wanted to ask why local sportspersons were not given importance. In a controversial remark, Telangana BJP leader K Laxman on Wednesday called tennis star Sania Mirza as "daughter-in-law" of Pakistan and questioned her credentials to be the brand ambassador of Telangana. The BJP has however distanced itself from Laxman over the matter.
