Ex-N Sync member, actor and RnB artiste Justin Timberlake is making a comeback this year and is currently gearing up to release a fresh tune after three years. Timberlake announced recently on Twitter (see below) that his new single, "Can't Stop The Feeling," will be released on May 6, 2016.
Although it can only be confirmed when the song is released, the song is most likely to be a pop ballad, given the fact that Timberlake was recently in the studios with Pharell Williams and also because KISS FM, a radio station primarily known for playing pop music, retweeted Timberlake's post (see below), saying: "I just heard the new @justintimberlake song!!! OMG! SMASH!!!"
The last time Timberlake released new music was in 2013 when he came out with back-to-back albums, "The 20/20 Experience" and "The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2." Collectively the albums were a major success, critically as well as commercially.
Since then the "Cry Me A River" hitmaker has acted in two films, "Runner Runner" and "Inside Llewyn Davis," collaborated with Jay Z on his album, "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" and appeared on Michael Jackson's second posthumous album, "Xscape."
The singer also recently collaborated with country music band Little Big Town, the details for which have not been disclosed yet. This year, Timberlake will also lend his voice to the lead character in "Trolls," an animated comedy set to come out in November. Also, since Timberlake is releasing a new single now, his fifth studio album might as well be on the cards. In the meantime, listen to the song below.
