Justin Bieber fanatics recently received a reason to celebrate when the pop singer shared the music video for "Company," a song from his fourth studio album "Purpose."
Directed by Roy Kramer, Bieber's personal videographer, the video is portrayed like a documentary. It captures footage from the singer's "Purpose" world tour last year and weaves it with clips of him in the studio while recording "Purpose." It also features scenes where Bieber is shown enjoying scenic landscapes during the tour.
Talking about the video, Bieber said in a statement on his website: "Personally, I love this video because it's an honest look at my journey. The process of putting together this album and this tour — surrounded by people I love to be with — has been really special. I'm proud of it, it's been a lot of fun and lot of hard work, and I think that really shows in video."
Sonically, "Company" borders around the electro-pop space while taking influences from modern day Rnb music. Lyrically, the track is themed on the concept of keeping a few boundaries intact while initially getting to know someone special. Jason Boyd, Andreas Schuller, Thomas Troelsen, James Abrahart, James Wong and Leroy Clampitt teamed up with Bieber to write the song.
Bieber, who is currently on a world tour, recently won the Top Male Artist and Top Social Media Artist awards at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
