Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez fans are always looking for hints and hunting for cues that will suggest something about the former lovers' relationship status. But this time, it was Ellen DeGeneres, who blatantly asked the "Baby" singer if his latest single "What Do You Mean?" is about Selena Gomez.
Ever since "What Do you mean?" debuted, Jelena fans have been speculating that the song is for and about Selena. But Justin finally gave up and revealed the truth about the song to Ellen.
"I wrote the song for women in general," the "Where Are U Now" singer told on Ellen's show on 15 September.
While he was trying to avoid talking about Selena, Ellen blatantly asked if the song was about one specific female whose name rhymes with "Melena", and the 21-year-old singer said, "I just never know what women are thinking 'cause they say one thing and they mean another thing and then they're like 'do this' and 'don't do this' and then I'm like, 'what do you mean?"
And not just this, on the show, Justin even revealed his relationship status when the 57-year-old host asked him if he was single. "I'm single, ladies," Justin confessed. "Ready to mingle," he dished out as the women in the audience applaud.
Well, it looks like Justin Bieber is giving no credit to Selena for his latest single and he has also made it clear that he is not considering reconciliation anytime soon.
In fact, recently, Celeb Dirty Laundry had reported that Justin Bieber is fed up with Selena and that he is done away with giving his ex-girlfriend "free press". The reports also claimed that Bieber felt like Gomez was using him and faking interest in reconciliation only to promote her album "Revival".
So, Jelena fans, do you think Justin Bieber is truly over Selena Gomez and ready to move on?
