The satellite rights of Junior NTR's upcoming movie "Temper" have reportedly been sold for a fancy price and the film has beaten the record of Young tiger's last outing "Rabhasa".
"Temper" has been creating positive buzz in the media, ever since director Puri Jagannath announced the film. In addition, its poster and teaser have garnered a lot of attention from the film goers, who are eagerly waiting for its release.
The huge hype surrounding the movie has sky-rocketed the demand for its music, TV and distribution rights.
There was a huge demand for the satellite rights of "Temper" among many leading Telugu entertainment channels such as Maa, Gemini, Zee Telugu and few others. This competition led to increase in its price. Finally, a channel has bagged its TV rights for a whopping amount.
The makers of "Temper" are yet to reveal the name of the TV channel, which has bagged its rights. But reports suggest that its rights has been sold for ₹7.75 crore. "The satellite rights have been sold for ₹7.75 crores to a leading TV channel," reports 123Telugu.
Junior NTR's previous release "Rabhasa", which was produced by Belamkonda Suresh, had sold its TV rights to Gemini TV for a whopping price of ₹7 crore and it was the highest price for a movie of the Young Tiger. Now, "Temper" has erased this record and set a new benchmark for his upcoming movies.
Touted to be a romantic action entertainer, "Temper" is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Bandla Ganesh has produced the film under the banner Parameswara Art Productions. Anoop Rubens and Mani Sharma are composing the soundtrack and background score respectively, while Shyam K Naidu handles the cinematography for the movie.
Junior NTR has earlier worked with actress Kajal Aggarwal in "Brindavanam" and "Baadshah". Their chemistry has worked wonders for both the film at the box office. Following their huge success, they will be seen together again in "Temper".
