Junglee Music has entered into the Malayalam film industry with the acquisition of music rights to Hariharan's new film "Ezhamathe Varavu".
The film features Indrajith, Bhavana and Vineeth in the lead roles. "Ezhamathe Varavu" is an emotional drama film written by MT Vasudevan Nair.
Hariharan is the director and producer of "Ezhamathe Varavu".
Always in the news for super hit soundtracks, Hariharan promises to deliver again with tracks by Kattassery Joseph Yesudas (Ee Nilavin Smirithiyuloorum), KS Chitra (Kaadu Poothe.. Kanavu Poothe...), Unnimenon (Chandanam Manakkunna) and Vijitha (Kuppivala), the team of Junglee Music said.
Junglee Music is already an established player in the South Indian film music industry with some major Tamil and Kannada film releases. Junglee Music felt that this was the perfect soundtrack to mark its entry into the Malayalam music industry.
Hariharan has spent four decades in the Malayalam film industry and has made more than 60 films. Most of his films are critically and commercially successful. Hariharan has a good knowledge in music and has worked with more than 40 music directors in India. His movies mainly revolve around the cultural and relational aspects of a typical Keralite society.
Hariharan has won several awards including six Kerala state awards, three National awards and one Filmfare Awards to his credit.
The forest area will serve as backdrop for Hariharan's directorial venture. Initially, Padmapriya was cast as the lead actress, but she was later replaced by Bhavana. Also, Narain opted out of the film and was replaced by Vineeth for the one of the lead roles.
