Junaid and his family were on board the ill-fated PK-661 flight that crashed near Havelian en route to Islamabad from Chitral. Junaid, his family and all other passengers on board are feared dead after the flight crashed in a hilly area near Havelian.
Soon after the news surfaced, Pakistani celebrities including Shoaib Akhtar, Mahira Khan, Urwa Hocane, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ali Zafar took to social media to express grief over the death of Pakistan's one of the most well-known pop star-turned- Islamic-preacher Junaid.
