Dancing with the Stars judge Julianne Hough seems to be having a bad season on the dancing reality show. First, Amber Rose accused her of bodyshaming, and now judge Carrie Ann is said to be getting irritated with Hough's diva attitude.
"Julianne is ruffling Carrie Ann's feathers," an insider told Life & Style. "It doesn't help that Julianne is now the center judge at the table, with all eyes on her. Carrie Ann is always rolling her eyes at Julianne," the insider said.
It is not immediately known if there is any truth to this report, but Hough did rub Rose the wrong way with her "uncomfortable" comment during the model's performance with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. "Julianne said it was a point in the dance where I had to lift my leg up and Maks (Chmerkovskiy) dipped me & she said, 'Oh, I'm uncomfortable,' and I instantly, I felt, I did feel body shamed," Rose revealed in her podcast.
Hough later apologised for her comment.
According to the Life&Style source, the drama isn't restricted to the judges' table alone. Apparently, Dancing with the Stars hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews aren't the best of friends. "They barely talk to each other when the cameras stop rolling," the source said, adding that tension crops up due to their different prep styles. "Tom could host any show in his sleep — he's a natural," the insider said. "Erin needs to prep and look at notes on every break. Tom just walks away from her, looking annoyed."
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC.
