Acclaimed actress Juhi Chawla is reportedly shooting for a Steven Speilberg film.
The vivacious actress has been roped in for the Speilberg and Oprah produced "The Hundred foot Journey," which is being directed by Oscar winning director Lasse Hallstrom.
The film also stars Om Puri and the acclaimed Hollywood actress Helen Mirren. The shooting of the film is said to presently be underway in Mumbai, reported Mumbai Mirror.
The film revolves around an immigrated Indian family settled in a hamlet in South France and the competition they face against a top French restaurant after they open an Indian restaurant nearby.
Juhi who plays the role of Om Puri wife in the film is said to have been hesitant about taking up the role initially as it was not a fully fledged act. But she later gave in as big names were associated with it.
The actress, who has finished a three-day schedule told the daily that working with Speilberg and the international crew has been a "different and exciting" experience.
The actress also revealed that Speilberg's "ET" was her favourite.
The film, "The Hundred Foot Journey" is based on Richard C Morais' novel of the same name.
However, Juhi Chawla is not the only one roped in for a Hollywood project. Meticulous actress Sridevi too has been approached for another Hollywood project starring Meryl Streep.
