Bollywood actresses Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez are set to share screen space in the remake of Salman Khan's Judwaa. The divas will play the love interests of the male lead, Varun Dhawan-- who will do a double role-- in the movie.
When two lead actresses come together for a film, catfight rumours are a given. Reports about Jackie and Taapsee sharing cold vibes have been doing the rounds for a long time.
But, Tapsee has now responded to the rumours. "We all had a ball while shooting in London. Judwaa is as much fun as I expected it to be. I am enjoying every bit of my stint as a typical Bollywood heroine. As for these rumours of stress on location, they're as lame as other baseless rumours that fly around," Deccan Chronicle quoted her as saying.
Earlier, it had been reported that Jacqueline and Taapsee are not very fond of each other, and their differences are becoming apparent on the sets of Judwaa 2.
"They can barely see eye to eye. Taapsee had shot for 25 days, and Jacqueline 15 in London. As per their request, their schedules were chalked out in such a way that they didn't overlap. But, Taapsee did bump into Jacqueline when she returned for two days of patch work," Mid-Day had quoted a source as saying.
However, this video puts all rumours:
Varun is working with his father, director David Dhawan, for the first time. Salman will do a cameo in the movie and reprise his characters from the 1997 flick.
