Jude Law will celebrate his 43rd birthday on Tuesday, 29 December, 2015. The English actor who is best known for his role in Sherlock Holmes alongside Robert Downey Jr has been busy filming for his new TV series, "The Young Pope", in Rome. Though this year the father-of-five hasn't been in the news much for his work, his personal life has managed to make it to all the gossip columns.
After Jude and Sadie Frost got divorced in 2003, the actor has been linked to and has dated many women, including American model Samantha, singer Catherine and actress Sienna Miller. But most recently, he was in a year-long relationship with TV presenter Rachel Bourlier. However, he called it off and moved on with psychologist Phillipa Coan (his current girlfriend) in August this year.
The ex French lover, Rachel, in a recent interview, opened up about how Jude Law wooed her and then broke her heart by just saying a "sorry". She said that Jude is a very caring person, but he's quite a womaniser. She said that she realised it was over between Jude and her when she read in papers that he is seeing Phillipa. "He tried hard to get me to stay with him. He said, 'I want to explain to you, let me see you'. But I just said, 'I don't want any more from you. You did enough'," she said.
"He tried and tried. I started crying on the phone and told him how awful he was. He said, 'I can't bear to hear you crying, I am so sorry'," she shared.
But now, it looks like even Jude is completely over Rachel as he has been snapped packing in PDA with his current girl Phillipa several times. After a romantic getaway in Venice early this year, Law and Coan were recently spotted spending quality time together while on a romantic dinner date night at Pierluigi's restaurant in Rome. And then later, the "Alfie" star and his girlfriend were seen locking lips and were lost in the moment as they smooched under the streetlights.
Now, since Jude Law is so open about his feelings for the business psychologist, fans think it's obvious that he will end up celebrating a quite birthday with Phillipa Coan. Well, only time will tell.
