Malayalam actress Aima Rosmy Sebastian who played Nivin Pauly's sister Ammu in the blockbuster movie "Jacobinte Swargarajyam," was well accepted by the audience for her performance in Vineeth Sreenivasan's family entertainer. The latest we hear from the industry is that she has signed her next project.
Aima confirmed to International Business Times, India that she is a part of "Vellimoonga"-fame Jibu Jacob's untitled movie, which stars superstar Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. The film marks the teaming up of Mohanlal and Meena after the blockbuster hit "Drishyam." The young actress will be seen as the couple's daughter Gini, who is a plus-two student.
Aima was initially informed about the project by actor Aju Varghese. The makers had earlier revealed that the shooting of the family entertainer will begin in June. Aima, who is also a dancer by profession, told IBTimes India that she will join the sets of the Mohanlal-starrer on July 11.
Biju Menon, who played the lead role in filmmaker Jibu's previous comedy entertainer "Vellimoonga," will also be seen in a main role in the untitled movie. While Mohanlal will be seen in the role of a panchayat secretary Ulahannan, Biju is said to be playing a government employee in the film. It also stars Aju Varghese, Nedumudi Venu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Suraj Venjarumoodu and Sudheer Karamana in significant roles.
The movie, being written by Sindhuraj, is the production venture of Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters. M Jayachandran and Bijibal have composed the music for the movie, for which cinematography is being handled by Pramod Pillai.
