The audio and trailer of Jr NTR's much-awaited film "Ramayya Vastavayya" (RV) was released at a gala event held in Hyderabad on 21 September.
The audio launch was attended by some prominent members of the Telugu film fraternity including Jr NTR, director Harish Shankar, music composer Thaman, producer Dil Raju, Rao Ramesh, Kota Srinivasa Rao and SS Rajamouli among others.
"Ramayya Vastayya" leading ladies - Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shruti Haasan - gave the launch event a miss.
Shruti had to miss out the audio launch due to a knee injury that she sustained while performing at the SIIMA awards ceremony. Ahead of the audio launch, the actress wished the "RV" team and tweeted, "All the very best to the Ramaiya vastavaiya team for our audio launch!unfortunately won't be able to make it due to my knee injury ! :("
Samantha also tweeted, "Really sad that I will not be able to make it for the audio release of RV.. @MusicThaman has worked his magic yet again... Congrats"

A small promo of the song "Jabilli Nuvve" was already released in the internet and became an instant hit. Recently, director Harish Shankar posted a video showing the making of "Neneppudaina" song featuring Jr NTR and Shruti Haasan. The song crooned by Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghosal, was shot in the beautiful locales of Spain, which have never been exposed to camera, director said in the video. "Ramayya Vastavayya" theatrical trailer was also released during the audio launch. The one-minute, 38-second video gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the film. "RamayyaVastavayya" is touted to be an action entertainer with all the commercial elements one would expect in a NTR film.
Release Date
"RV", produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, has Ravi Shankar, Vidyullekha Raman and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles. The film is confirmed to release on 10 October and is heading for a big clash with Pawan Kalyan's "Atharintiki Daaredi", a family entertainer co-starring Samanth and Pranita Subash.
