Jr NTR's latest release, "Baadshah" has completed 50 days in 60 theatres across Andhra Pradesh.
"Baadshah", which was released on 5 April, completed 50 days on 24 May. Expressing happiness over the film's successful run, producer Ganesh Bandla tweeted, "Blockbuster Baadshah 50 days thank u so much young tiger. For giving opportunity to my PARAMESWARA ART PRODUCITONS."
Bandla produced the blockbuster flick under the banner Parameswara Art Productions.
"Baadshah" opened to a grand expectations as Jr NTR teamed up with popular commercial director Sreenu Vaitla of "Dookudu" fame for the first time. The combination worked wonders for both, with "Baadshah" doing good business at the box office.
The film is one of highest grossing Telugu flicks of this year and even joined the elite 40-crore club. "Baadshah's" story is about a young man who swears to take revenge for the death of his foster brother in a bomb blast. Jr NTR appears as Rama Rao and Baadshah.
Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead. The lead actors have teamed up for the second time after their successful movie, "Brindavanam" which was released in 2010. Comedians M.S. Narayana and Brahmanandam have managed to evoke laughter with their roles. The rest of the star cast includes Siddharth, Navadeep, Nasser, Suhasini, Chandra Mohan, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani and Satya Kishnan. Actor Mahesh Babu has given voice-over in the first half of the movie introducing the characters.
Thaman's music is still topping the charts. "#Baadshah #banthipoolajanaki is still rocking at no:1position thanks to @Mirchi983FM@SreenuVaitla@ganeshbandla," Thaman tweeted on Friday.
Even as Jr NTR's fans are celebriting on the success of "Baadshah", the actor has shifted his focus to his next film, "Ramayya Vasthavayya" directed by Harish Shankar. The first look teaser of the film has already raised a lot of expectations. The shooting is currently progressing at a brisk pace. The next schedule of the film will begin in Malaysia from 27 May (Monday).
"Ramayya Vasthavayya" has Samantha and Shruti playing the female leads. The film is slated to be released on 27 September.
