Jr NTR-Koratala Siva's film, which was expected to go on floors in December, has been delayed as the actor is busy with his current project.
The young tiger of Telugu cinema is working with Santosh Srinivas ("Kandireega" fame) in a film titled "Joru" (Earlier, it was tentatively titled "Rhabasa").
The film's shooting will be wrapped up in May and by that time Koratala Siva, who made his directorial debut with "Mirchi", will be busy with his second project starring Mahesh Babu. NTR and Siva have decided to begin their film after their projects get completed.
Confirming the news, Koratala Siva tweeted, "As NTR is already doing a movie now and will finish it only in May, both of us decided to do it after my Utv movie with @urstrulyMahesh."
Mahesh-Siva's film, which is the first Telugu production venture of UTV Motion Pictures, will begin only in mid-2014. This could mean that fans need to wait a little longer to see NTR's second film (after "Joru") next year.
NTR had two releases this year - "Baadshah" and "Ramayya Vastavayya". "Baadshah" resurrected the slugging career of the actor who had earlier given three back-to-back box office duds. The Sreenu Vaitla directorial turned into one of the biggest hits of 2013. However, NTR's other release - "Ramayya Vastavayya" - failed to live up to the expectations of the audiences.
The film, which released on 11 October, was panned by critics and fans alike for its lack of entertainment quotient. Following the poor outcome of "Ramayya Vastavayya", it seems NTR is making extra efforts for "Joru". Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, "Joru" will have Samantha and Pranitha ("Attarintiki Daredi" leading ladies) as the heroines.
