Actor Junior NTR's publicist has refuted the rumours that the young tiger has planned to meet Jayalalitha, who returned as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu in the recent assembly elections.
It is widely known that Jayalalithaa previously worked as an actress before making a plunge into active politics. She and late legendary actor Senior NTR were one of the most successful on-screen pairs of the Telugu film industry in the 1960s and 1970s. She has reportedly maintained very good relationship with the Nandamuri family.
Of late, it was rumoured that Junior NTR, who is currently shooting for his upcoming movie "Janatha Garage," was going to meet TN CM Jayalalitha at her residence. His PRO took to his Twitter handle to silence the rumour mongers. He tweeted, "Tarak @tarak9999 isnt meeting CM Jayalalitha Garu. Its fake news. There was never even a proposal..Unit is very busy with #JanathaGarage shoot."
Junior NTR has completed 80 percent of the shooting of "Janatha Garage" in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The filming of the climax portions is left and it was reportedly planned to begin in Chennai a month ago. But the producers were said to have delayed the shooting due the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
The actor left for Chennai along with other cast and crew on May 26. Before leaving, he visited the NTR Ghat and paid respects to his grandfather as he would not be there on May 28, which happens to the birth anniversary of late NT Rama Rao. The photos featuring him at the NTR Ghat went viral on social media.
It was rumoured that Junior NTR would release the first-look teaser of "Janatha Garage" on May 28 as a gift to his late grandfather on the birth anniversary. But his publicist refuted the rumours, saying it will be released in June. Mahesh S Koneru â€tweeted, "No Janatha Garage teaser tomorrow guys .. A super stylish teaser is getting ready and will most probably come out in June."
