The Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's ex Josh Murray, who found love once again on television with Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 contestant Amanda Stanton, seems to be single once again.
According to a Us Weekly report, Murray and Stanton called off their engagement after struggling with their relationship for six months. On December 7, a friend of Stanton revealed that the duo has broken up, "but their relationship is always up in the air. It's been like that from the beginning."
Stanton and Murray had an instant connection on Bachelor in Paradise, but the other contestants weren't too sure of Dorfman's ex, as she had alleged in her book that he was abusive towards her. In an earlier interview with Cosmopolitan, Dorfman said she wasn't aware of Murray's temper issues when she met him on ABC's dating reality show.
"When you go on this show, you put your best foot forward," she explained to Cosmopolitan. "You're introducing yourself to the world, in a way — why would you want to show your worst qualities? I don't think he hid who he was, but the situations we were in didn't bring out his more negative traits. Like, I didn't know he had a temper because every time he was with me, it was just the two of us in a palace or something. How could you not be happy?"
During Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, twins Emily and Haley Ferguson as well as Nick Viall expressed doubts about Murray's intention, but still Stanton went ahead with the engagement.
"I know Josh pretty well now myself, so it's not something I'm too worried about," she told Us in August. "There are two sides to every story."
