Actor Joseph Morgan, who plays the iconic Klaus Mikaelson in The CW's "The Originals", turns 34 on 16 May. The English actor who wed his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Persi White almost a year ago, is one the central characters of the TVD spin-off series "The Originals".
As a ruthless anti-hero, Klaus says some of the most unforgivable, yet unforgettable dialogues. Take a look at some on the eve of his 34th birthday:
House of the Rising Son (seaosn 1 episode 2)
Marcel: I don't have time for Mikaelson family drama. You're my guest. Keep your sister in line.
Klaus: I'd have greater chance of draining the Mississippi with a straw.
Fruit of the Poisoned Tree (season 1 episode 6)
Allow me to entertain you with today's list of priorities. One: unlink your friend Sophie so she no longer controls the fate of the woman carrying my child. Two: convince my brother to accept my heartfelt apologies for some recently dodgy behavior. Three: there is no three.
From a Cradle to a Grave (season 1 episode 22)
Klaus: Hello, sister.
Rebekah: Oh, she looks like her mother. Maybe there is a god after all.
Klaus: Well she has a hint of the devil in her eyes. That's all me.
Wheel Inside the Wheel (season 2 episode 6)
You declared war when you came after my family and for that, I will make you suffer as only I can. After all, I am my mother's son.
Sanctuary (season 2 episode 12)
Jackson: Klaus, if you want to fight me, come on.
Klaus: You mistake my intentions. I haven't come here to fight you. Not at all. This is to be an execution. Tell me, how exactly would you like to die?
Fire with Fire (season 2 episode 21)
I've never been daggered. I never knew it was such an agonizing experience. It does help explain why my siblings loathe me.
"The Originals" has gone on a hiatus after the season 2 finale. The CW will start airing season 3 of the supernatural series from May 2016.
