JoJo Fletcher, the star of the next season of ABC's dating reality show "The Bachelorette," opened up about dating and said she is hopeful of finding her future husband on the show. The 25-year-old real estate developer was on "Good Morning America" Friday and said she is already "feeling feelings."
"I am connecting with these guys," Fletcher, who was a contestant on "The Bachelor," said, according to ABC News. "I'm having fun with them. I'm actually feeling feelings, which I didn't expect so early on."
"I want to be engaged," she continued. "I want marriage. I want a family, so I feel like this could happen right now."
Talking about her ideal man, Fletcher said she was looking for someone whom she could trust. She also wants her partner to make her feel safe and protected. It has just been a week since she started filming for Season 12 of "The Bachelorette," and Fletcher has already kissed four men. "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss has been updating fans via Twitter about the number of men Fletcher has already kissed.
"One of the guys just discovered JoJo's birthmark..." Fleiss teased on Friday. "JoJo is doing great. Happy and enjoying her journey!!!" yet another tweet read.
As for whether she's in touch with Higgins, the man who broke her heart by choosing Lauren Bushnell as his partner despite telling her he loved her, Fletcher said she hasn't communicated with him. "I spent those last couple of days and weeks trying to recover from my breakup with Ben," she said, adding that she was in touch with Bushnell.
Season 12 of "The Bachelorette" will premiere Monday, May 23 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
