Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift have been extremely private about their relationship. The British actor shared that he will try to keep his relationship with the singer, as guarded as possible.
The Bad Blood singer and the 27-year-old actor have been dating since May 2017. During an interview with Esquire, Alwyn talked about people's interest in him and Swift. He said: "I know what I feel about it. I think there's a very clear line as to what somebody should share, or feel like they have to share, and what they don't want to and shouldn't have to."
Swift who has been going strong with Alwyn, has a history of dating high-profile celebrities including Scottish singer/DJ Calvin Harris, One Direction star Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Tom Hiddleston and Conor Kennedy.
In February, sources close to Swift revealed how she takes extreme lengths to remain discreet when visiting her boyfriend, who lives in London. "Taylor has been in the UK a lot more than people know," an insider told E! News.
"She has the entire routine down pat now," the source added.
In December 2015, during an interview with NME magazine, Swift said she feels the world is too interested in her personal life. She told the publication: "I'm in the news every single day for multiple different reasons. And it can feel, at times, if you let your anxiety get the better of you like everybody's waiting for you to really mess up – and then you'll be done."
"A lot of the time I need to call my mom and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and all the things that matter. If you do something that defines your character to be not what the public thought you were, that's the biggest risk," Swift added.
