After television couple Anas Rashid and Rati Pandey's break-up, another couple from the Telly world has called it quits. According to a report in the Times of India, TV actors Ravi Bhatia and Heena Parmar have parted ways.
Ravi and Heena, who played Salim and Anarkali respectively in the historic drama "Jodha Akbar," were in a serious relationship for the past few months. Rumour has it Ravi, who moved to Indonesia for work, was unable to devote time to the relationship. Also, Heena's reported closeness with a producer was said to be one of the reasons behind the breakup.
Although Heena confirmed she and Ravi are no longer together, she refuted the rumour of her relationship with a producer. "That's not true and I don't know who is spreading these rumours. I was, am and will always be loyal to Ravi. I've been in depression ever since he called off the relationship four months ago. I was in my hometown for a long time trying to recover from the heartbreak. I guess he didn't have enough time to give to our relationship as he got busy with his Indonesian projects," she told the Times of India.
Ravi said Heena was just a friend. "I don't want things to turn ugly. I would just say that Heena was a friend and will be a friend," he said.
Last year, Ravi made news when reports of his growing closeness with co-actor Heena, despite he being in a relationship with actress Pooja Pihal, surfaced. Apparently, when Pooja got to know about Ravi and Heena, she hurled abuses at the actor and also slapped him in front of the entire crew of "Jodha Akbar."
In other news, "Jodha Akbar" went off air in July last year due to a drastic fall in its TRP ratings. Its lead actors Rajat Tokas aka Akbar and Paridhi Sharma aka Jodha, however, gained popularity with their on-screen chemistry.
