While, fans of "Jodha Akbar" are disappointed with their favourite historic show going off air, lead actress Paridhi Sharma aka Jodha will soon be back on screens.
The gorgeous actress has bagged a new project and is all set to scorch the screens once again.
Paridhi will host Vikas Gupta's "Talaash", which is currently being hosted by Anita Hassanandani and Shaleen Malhotra. The series is based on real life stories on super natural powers and with Paridhi, it will highlight incidents on exorcism.
"It will give me an opportunity to be myself. I was planning to go on a long break, but the offer prompted me to change my decision." The Times of India quoted Paridhi as saying.
The actress will shed her heavy outfit that she donned on "Jodha Akbar" and will be seen in light attires on the new show. "It's a relief from the heavy attire that I donned for two years on my previous show," she added.
"Jodha Akbar" that ruled the hearts of millions for the past two years was pulled down due to drastic fall in the TRP ratings.
The periodic series is a sixteenth century love story and a political marriage between Mughal emperor Akbar, played by Rajat Tokas and Rajput princess Jodha. Both Paridhi and Rajat turned out to be very popular, with a huge fan-base.
