Jammu/Srinagar, Oct 4 (ANI): Members of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party staged a hunger strike in Jammu city, demanding stringent action against officials responsible for the rotting of food grains meant for flood victims. District administration of Udhampur dumped the soiled relief material in a community hall, which has been rotting on a railway station. JKNPP MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia demanded probe into the incident. The government of Jammu and Kashmir has decided to provide free ration -50 kilogram each -to the flood affected families for six months. The ration will be available at all district offices of the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD).
