A paramilitary trooper was injured when unidentified men opened fire at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Malhar area of Jammu & Kashmir's Kathua district.
The injured CRPF trooper was shifted to a hospital, a police official told IANS.
"A trooper was injured in a firing incident at a CRPF picket in Malhar (Billawar) area on Monday morning," the official said.
"Further details are waited as reinforcements have been rushed to the spot," he added.
The CRPF is yet to find out whether it was a militant attack or an accidental firing.
