At least two militants were killed by security forces in an encounter Pulwarma district of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday evening.
One of the security personnel was also injured during the joint operation by the Army and the police in Drabgam area.
The militants were reportedly trapped after the police had cordoned off the locality.
On Thursday, three Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in Shopian district during a joint operation by the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Rashtriya Rifles.
