At least five jawans were reportedly injured on Monday when a group of militants opened fire at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The militants, disguised in Army uniform, attacked the convoy at Sangam, located on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in Anantnag district's Bijbehara town, according to News24's Jammu and Kashmir Bureau Chief.
The area where the attack took place has been cordoned off and search operation in underway, according to local media reports.
