Jiah Khan

Jiah Khan, who made her debut in Ram Gopal Verma's 2007 film "Nishabd", was found dead in her apartment in Juhu on 3 June 2013. Reports suggested that she committed suicide due to stress and depression in her personal life. Following the shocking death of the actress, her rumoured friend Suraj Pancholi was taken into custody.

Silk Smitha

Silk Smitha, who was known for her erotic roles in south Indian films, was found dead in her Chennai apartment on 23 September 1996 with a suicide note that described her depression due to many failures in life. Inspired by her life, Milan Luthria made the blockbuster film "The Dirty Picture", which starred Vidya Balan in the lead role.

Divya Bharti

The "Deewana" actress' fell from the fifth floor of her Mumbai apartment on 5 April 1993, just one year after her marriage to filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, shocking Bollywood. Though the police concluded it as accidental death, some continued to believe it was suicide, while others thought it was murder. 

Guru Dutt

Guru Dutt, who is known for his classics "Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam", "Kaagaz Ke Phool", "Pyaasa" and "Chaudhvin Ka Chand", was found dead in his rented apartment in Mumbai on 10 October 1964. The reason for his death was said to be an overdose of alcohol and sleeping pills.

Parveen Babi

The "Amar Akbar Anthony" actress' body was found on 22 January 2005'; she was reportedly starved to death. She was diabetic and was struggling with her life during her final days.

Viveka Babajee

Top model Viveka, who was known for her Kama Sutra condom commercials, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her Mumbai apartment on 25 June 2010, reportedly due to depression. 

Manmohan Desai

The "Amar Akbar Anthony" and "Coolie" director passed away after he fell from his balcony in Mumbai. While some claim that he committed suicide due to his unsuccessful career, others say he was depressed due to his back pain.

Nafisa Joseph

MTV video jockey Nafisa committed suicide on 29 July 2004 at her flat in Mumbai, after finding her fiancé businessman Gautam Khanduja was already married.

Kuljeet Randhawa

The "Kohinoor" series actress Kuljeet committed suicide at her Juhu apartment, as she could not cope up with her life's pressures.
