Mouni Roy, a contestant of the upcoming dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" season 7 (JDJ7), is not in the pink of health, according to reports.
The "Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev" actress is reportedly down with chicken pox. Roy was recently announced as one of the 13 contestants of the Colours TV reality show. The actress is now very weak from the effects of the disease and has been missing from the sets of the reality show, reported One India.
The report further stated that Roy is currently trying hard to regain her health and participate in the show. It is well known that Roy is a trained Kathak dancer and has a strong onscreen presence. And a talented participant like her missing out would certainly be a loss to the dance reality show .
The shoot for the show's promos, involving celebrities like VJ Andy, Purab Kohli, Sophie Choudry, Kritika Kamra, Kiku Sharda, Sreesanth and Ashish Sharma, is currently underway. But Roy has been missing from the scene, with her ill health being the possible reason of the absence.
It remains to be seen whether Roy manages to recuperate on time and continue her participation in the show.
Apart from Roy, Andy, Kohli, Choudry, Kamra, Sharda, Sharma and Sreesanth, other celebrity participants of the show include Karan Tacker, Puja Banerjee, Sukhwinder Singh, Shakti Mohan and child sensation Akshat Singh.
"JDJ7" will also have a change in its hosts this time. Ranvir Shorey and last season's winner Drashti Dhami will pair up to replace Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma. Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza will continue as the show's judges.
