The ninth season of Colors' "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" is beginning on July 30, and even as the shooting of the dance reality show is on in full swing, come reports that Ganesh Hegde, who is one of the judges of the season, will be replaced soon.
According to the report, Ganesh has been giving a tough time to the makers with his tantrums, which is why they have decided to replace the choreographer with Farah Khan. Farah is likely to replace Ganesh as the third judge, alongside Karan Johar and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Farah is said to be in talks with the producers and would be seen in the next few episodes.
The development may disappoint the fans of the popular choreographer. However, considering that Farah brings in a lot humour to the shows, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" would surely be a laugh riot for the contestants as well as the audience.
"Farah Khan is in talks with the producers and may replace Ganesh after a few episodes. Of course, the channel will announce that it was Ganesh's work commitments that made him give up the show. It will be great fun to see Farah and KJo together as when they come together, they are a laugh riot with their witticisms and banter. This will be their first appearance together on the show," a source told DNA.
Meanwhile, the first episode of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" will see Anil Kapoor as the celebrity guest. The actor will appear on the show to promote his TV series, "24 Season 2," which recently went on air on the same channel. Earlier reports had said that Hrithik Roshan or Akshay Kumar would appear on the opening episode to promote their films "Mohenjo Daro" and "Rustom," respectively.
