Barely a few days before "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" starts its telecast on July 30, rumours started doing the rounds that judge Ganesh Hegde will be replaced by Farah Khan. However, it is now being said that while Farah is joining the judges' panel, Ganesh is not being ousted either. The ace choreographer has clarified that he will be away from the show for a long time and will return only for the last four episodes.
Rumour had it that Ganesh had been giving a tough time to the makers with his tantrums, which is why they decided to replace him with Farah Khan. However, Ganesh told Mid-Day: "It is true that I will not be part of the show for long, but that's not the whole picture. I will be seen last on the September 8 episode before I return for the final four weeks. If I were throwing tantrums, they wouldn't wait till September to replace me."
"There has to be a technical judge on the show and she will be it. A wild card entry episode will mark Farah's debut on the show. This season, a bunch of kids will come in for the wild card entry contest to compete with the adult contestants. However, I am not sure if they are celebrity kids," he added.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the dance reality show has been going on in full swing. According to reports, Gaurav Gera, popular as Chutki from "Shopkeepaa (Shopkeeper) and Chutki" series, has been eliminated. The actor-comedian's dance act couldn't live up to the expectations of the judges and the audience, resulting in his scores being the lowest.
Reports also said that Siddharth Nigam, who played the role of young Ashoka on "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," would enter the show as the first wild card contestant. Siddharth was supposed to enter "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" from the very first episode, but the makers decided to bring him as a wild card contestant.
