"Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" is nearing its end and contestants are gearing up for some stiff competition. "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Karan Patel was on the set of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" to cheer friend Mohit Malik on.
"This week Mohit Malik was elated to have Karan Patel (Ye Hai Mohabbatein) as his best buddy on the sets of Jhalak who was there to cheer him up and did a vote appeal for him. Karan also wished him good luck for Jhalak," India-forums quoted an insider as saying.
Mohit thanked the actor saying it was thoughtful of him to squeeze out time form his hectic schedule to watch him perform on the show. He also added how they have known each other for a while now and he appreciates the fact that Karan has grown as an actor and portrays his characters naturally.
"I respect the way he has grown as an actor. He always stands out in his performances. His show is very popular and he portrays his character naturally. Karan is one among few in TV industry who put so much of efforts in his characters," he told the popular web portal.
Karan was also rooting for another friend and "YHM" co-star Anita Hassanandani, who had to bow out of the show owing to an injury.
