It's been a few weeks since "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" was aired, and the contestants have gone to being acquaintances to roommates. But, a certain star isn't interested in the new-found friendships.
On the sets, Shamita Shetty reportedly likes to keep to herself. A source told Daily Bhaskar that the actress is a bit reserved and mostly steers clear of any kind of interaction.
"Shamita is a little reserved person. She doesn't much interact with the other contestants. Off-screen, all of these contestants cheer each other. There is lot of fun interaction amongst them. But Shamita prefers sitting alone. Yes, there is a smile or hug exchange activity from Shamita's side, but fun element is surely missing," the insider further elaborated.
However, since none of the concerned parties have come clean on it, this piece of news can be taken as a mere speculation.
Interestingly, Shamita's Instagram account speaks otherwise. She has a few selfies and group photos with her fellow-contestants.
While Sanaya Irani has moved in with recently eliminated Kavita Kaushik, Scarlett Wilson shares great rapport with the "Rang Rasiya" actress. Also, together Ashish Chowdhry, Sanaya and Kavita were called the Chaudharis of "Jhalak".
"I usually meet them and the three of us are called the 'Chaudharis' of 'Jhalak' because we have a reputation of sitting and doing panchayat and talking in between our rehearsals. We are basically having a good," IANS quoted the ex-contestant as saying.
In other news, Shamita, very bravely danced despite a nose fracture and were one of the top scorers of the weekend.
