Former "Balika Vadhu" actress Neha Marda decided to exit "Doli Armaanon Ki" as she wasn't ready to play the post-leap role offered to her. And now, there's a strong buzz that has been approached for "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
"Neha was initially approached to participate as a wild card contestant as she was busy with her show. But the girl wanted to do Jhalak from the start, so hadn't given her nod then. But now that she has moved out of Doli, she is likely to join the dance reality show," a source told Telly Chakkar. The insider further elaborated that Neha was still contemplating on participating in the dance reality show.
Kavita Kaushik, Sargun Mehta, Sanaya Irani, Faisal Khan, Radhika Madan, Parth Samthaan, Puneet Issar, Deepika Samson, and Nora Fatehi are some of the other names who have reportedly been approached. While Manish Paul has been offered a hefty fee for hosting the show, RJ Pritam has been finalised as the co-host.
Since there has been no official announcement as yet, this can be counted as a mere speculation.
In other news, Neha was asked to play Mohit Malik's (aka Samrat Singh Rathore) mother after the show successfully takes the 20-year leap. Talking to The Times of India, she said she was not okay with having a grown-up child on the show.
"However, with the show set to take a 20-year leap and Mohit playing Shaurya, I wasn't willing to continue. I can't play mother to a 28-year-old guy. We have parted ways amicably and I wish the show the best," she explained.
