Manish Paul might have failed to connect with the audience on silver screen, but as a television host, he rules the television industry.
Manish, known for his comic timing, has been hosting the dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" from fifth season. Manish is one of the reasons for the high TRP of the dance reality show.
And keeping in mind all the factor, the makers of the reality show offered him a whopping amount to host "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
According to reports, the makers have offered him ₹1.5 crore this year.
"The producers of the show are aware that Manish's market value has increased. They have made him an offer keeping that in mind," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying.
Manish was approached for the show last week, but the anchor hasn't given his nod to the project yet.
"He will have to get back to them soon. As soon as he confirms his availability, the shooting plan for the new season will be discussed with him. The organisers believe he is a popular face and has a strong connect with the audience," the source added.
Meanwhile, this year the dance reality show will get a makeover with new judges taking the seat. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has been reportedly approached for the show. The actress has been offered ₹14 crore to judge the show.
Also, there have been reports that filmmaker Karan Johar might not be a part of the show this year.
"Initially, the plan was to bring in a fourth judge on the panel. The makers were in talks with a few celebrities and Shilpa Shetty had agreed to come on board. However, Karan has now opted out due to work commitments. So, the show will have three judges like before," a source told Mid-Day.
